About Me
Sumeet began her investment industry career as a financial consultant at Lehman Brothers in 1993 and subsequently worked at several national financial firms before joining Sanders Morris, where she spent 15 years. She made the move to Stifel in 2025. Prior to starting her career in the financial services industry, Sumeet worked for Shell Chemical in the polymers division.
Sumeet received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University. Upon graduation, she was offered a Stocker Fellowship from the Engineering College to pursue postgraduate studies.
Outside of work, Sumeet focuses on keeping fit and staying active, having completed several marathons and an ironman competition. She’s also an avid traveler who supports organizations that are dedicated to animal welfare and finding a cure for cancer.
About Me
In the wake of the 1987 stock market crash, George started his investment industry career in 1988 at Sherwood Capital. Shortly after this, he joined Lehman Brothers as a financial consultant in 1990. He worked at several national investment firms before joining Sanders Morris in 2010, where he spent 15 years. He made the move to Stifel in 2025.
George earned a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas in Austin. Away from the office, he supports several veteran and animal organizations and is also an endurance athlete who has completed 15 ironman competitions and one Ultraman competition. He and his wife, Ingrid, have a daughter, Angelina, who is currently a student at Texas A&M University and a competitive CrossFit athlete.
